Privacy notice
What we collect when you contact Refit Computing, why we need it, and how to ask for it to be removed.
Information you send us
Our pickup, repair, and device-sale forms collect the details shown on the form, such as your name, email address, optional phone number, location, and information about the equipment or problem. If you continue the conversation by email, we retain the messages and attachment names with the inquiry.
Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, medical information, or sensitive file contents through a website form or email.
Technical information
We record an inquiry's IP address and browser user-agent string to limit spam, investigate failures, and protect the Admin inbox. The site also uses first-party, privacy-focused traffic measurement to understand which pages and services people use. We do not use advertising trackers or sell visitor profiles.
How the information is used
We use inquiry information to answer questions, prepare quotes, arrange collection or delivery, create a job when you approve work, and maintain the service record. Contact details are not added to a marketing list or sold to another company.
Service providers
Website messages and replies may pass through Resend for email delivery and receiving, our Gmail inbox for operator notifications, and our hosting provider for application storage and logs. These providers process the information only as needed to deliver and operate the service.
Retention and deletion
Active inquiries remain available while we are discussing or completing the work. Inquiries marked done or junk are automatically removed from the website's application storage after 365 days. Deleting a request in Admin removes its form data and conversation from that storage immediately.
Copies already delivered to Gmail, Resend, backups, or required business records can follow those systems' retention periods. You may ask us to remove an inquiry from systems we control by emailing [email protected].
